Come and see a strange new world, where children are encouraged to learn to think procedurally and have a platform for expression, a context for mathematics, and a place to just plain have fun, using Scratch, a colourful, introductory programming environment. We will be discussing how to use iMovie on an iPad for student presentations. iPads and iMovie are great presentation tools for students at any grade level. They can easily be taken anywhere in and out of the school and the video-editing process is user-friendly and quick. You'll be amazed by the videos your students can create!

We'll look at examples of cross-platform tools, and specifically how to approach things in terms of "product" rather than "process".
